Join us for an exciting and active summer at our Healthy Living Summer Enrichment Class! Students will learn the importance of nutrition by making delicious smoothies and healthy snacks, fueling their bodies for a day full of fun. They’ll stay active with a variety of sports, including beach volleyball, basketball, pickleball, yoga, and indoor volleyball, ensuring they build teamwork and athletic skills while staying fit. Our camp promotes a balanced lifestyle, combining physical activity with healthy eating habits in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether spiking volleyball on the beach court or blending up a nutritious smoothie, students will develop lifelong wellness habits while making new friends. Perfect for teens who love to stay active and learn about healthy living, this class is a summer experience they won’t forget!

Summer Sports Camp LIMITED
Monday June 9, 2025 8:30am - Thursday June 12, 2025 3:30pm EDT
Satellite High School
This camp will entail the following sports. Pickleball, basketball, volleyball, flag football and weight training. The students will learn the rules, techniques, drills and strategies to participate in the various sports as well as maintain good sportsmanship. We will cover the 4 sports one day each and spend the morning portion learning the basics and doing different drills to help enhance the students skills in each one. After lunch we'll break down into teams and play games in that particular days sport. We will go to the weight room the last hour of the each day and do weight training and conditioning drills. Camp is open to students of all abilities and experience. Come out and have a good time, perhaps learn a new sport and keep in shape at the same time.

Cooking meals from around the world from scratch is a flavorful journey that brings global cultures into your kitchen. From Italy’s handmade pasta to delicate macaroons delicate, each dish tells a story of tradition and craftsmanship. Mexican tortillas/nachos celebrate fresh, vibrant ingredients.
Making these dishes from scratch allows for authenticity, control over ingredients, and a deeper appreciation of diverse culinary traditions. It requires patience, fresh ingredients, and an openness to experiment with new techniques, whether it’s kneading dough for pizza or making fried rice.
Beyond just food, cooking globally fosters cultural connection, enhances cooking skills, and turns meals into an experience. Embracing international cuisine at home broadens the palate and deepens appreciation for the world’s rich culinary heritage.

The focus of this camp will be to develop, strengthen and build skills as well as content knowledge in Mathematics for the SAT. Students will engage in mini lessons, practice problems and practice tests on the Mathematics portion of the SAT.

Summer Science Research Camp LIMITED

Students will learn STEM research skills and biotechnology science techniques. A team of 3 BPS experienced science research teachers and AP Research teachers will work with students in the SHS BSL2 lab and in the classroom to develop research questions and lab techniques students can use for science fair and college applications. This camp will be hands-on, lab experiences and STEM Challenges mixed with college level research techniques. New activities from the previous experiences are planned and both new and returning students are welcome to attend.
