Our unique program offers middle school students the chance to develop their own food trailer, learn sublimation to create signature shirts and hats, and craft a unique signature dish. They will be given a list of ingredients that they will use to create their signature dish. At the end of the week, students will prepare their menu item and present it to a panel of judges in a thrilling competition! A summer spent at a pool splashing and enjoying the weather with friends. This will be about fun whether it is playing pool games or practicing boating skills in the pool. It is fun and relaxing and a wonderful way to spend a week getting to meet new people and learn new ways to enjoy being in the water. Participants need to bring at least one towel, plenty of sunscreen, a water bottle, snacks and an attitude ready for fun and adventure. A one-piece swimsuit is required for females and rash guards are encouraged.

Lifeguard Certification Course FULL

**PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD**
This week is an opportunity for students that are at least 15 years old to go through the lifeguard certification course which incudes CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aide certification. Participants will need to bring their own towel, hat, fanny pack and CPR mask, a whistle and gloves will be provided. Females are required to wear a one-piece suit. Certification is not guaranteed as students will be required to pass the written test with a minimum of 80% and 100% on the water skills test.

Welcome to Chemistry with Mrs. Levine! This interactive course focuses on renewable energy and environmental sustainability, combining hands-on labs and real-world applications. Students will explore the benefits of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power while designing cost-effective prototypes. They’ll learn how engineers tackle pollution by modeling oil spills and testing cleanup techniques. Through water treatment experiments, students will design small-scale filtration systems to produce cleaner water. We’ll also examine the impacts of climate change and the role of green hydrogen in decarbonizing the economy, with students building electrolysis cells to produce hydrogen. This course provides an exciting opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, explore innovative chemistry applications, and discover how science can help create a sustainable future. Join us to explore the fascinating intersection of chemistry, engineering, and environmental stewardship!

Participants will need a towel, swimsuit (it is required for females to wear a one piece suit), sunscreen, water bottle, hat and sunglasses.
