**PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE-SHOES** This program offers a sequence of basic courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Automotive Industry; provides basic technical skills, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Automotive Industry. The content includes but is not limited to broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the Automotive industry.
**THIS CAMP WILL HAVE A FIELD TRIP FOR ALL STUDENTS ON FRIDAY. ALL REGISTERED STUDENTS MUST ATTEND FIELD TRIP** Camp attendees will learn in an operational Aerospace/Aviation Hangar environment with Aircraft and Helicopters. Students will build and model Aircraft, Build and launch a Model Rocket, and Fly drones. On Friday morning we will go to The Astronauts Memorial Foundation's, Center for Education and receive training for NASA personnel. Then spend the rest of the day at the NASA Visitor Center.

Let’s learn to sew – make it yourself – We will learn how to use a sewing machine to make items such as zipper pouches, headbands, pillows, bottle holders, blankets, key chains and other fun items to bring back to school next fall.
