World cultures are alive and hands-on through the learning of authentic food, with meaningful and relevant facts. We will be using food recipes from Spanish-speaking countries all over the world. This will enlighten students about the Hispanic culture and interest them about the origin of different cultural foods, and ingredients while indulging and savoring their creations.
The students will spend half of the day in the technical design classroom, learning the basics of AutoCAD, and through a group assignment, design and create the drawings for 3-dimensional object that represents their group, collectively. They will learn the Architectural Design Process and produce Construction Documents of their object. They will then build this object in the Machining Room while being introduced to the basics of understanding and operation of the machines. At the end of the class, the students will each take home a product that represents their team! This will promote team building, peer- editing and conversation as well as other great standards from the CTE Programs.

Through hands-on activities, guidance, and real-world applications, students will explore the college admissions process, develop effective personal statements, and craft strong résumés.
Tennis is a lifelong sport than can offer a fun and entertaining way to be active. In this course we will spend a portion of each day developing new tennis skills and strategy, singles and doubles matches, as well as team building competitions.
This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the basics of lighting design, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It will be in conjunction with the Drafting course and the concepts they have been learning in this class during the school year. The students will benefit by: * Gaining valuable knowledge and skills in lighting design while enhancing their overall educational experience * Gaining insight into potential career paths in the field of lighting design and related industries * Developing their critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills through hands-on activities and group projects
