The students will spend half of the day in the technical design classroom, learning the basics of AutoCAD, and through a group assignment, design and create the drawings for 3-dimensional object that represents their group, collectively. They will learn the Architectural Design Process and produce Construction Documents of their object. They will then build this object in the Machining Room while being introduced to the basics of understanding and operation of the machines. At the end of the class, the students will each take home a product that represents their team! This will promote team building, peer- editing and conversation as well as other great standards from the CTE Programs.
