The Cub Scout Experience is a coed first-hand look into the activities and adventures that Cub Scouts offers. Students will learn the ranks and expectations of what a cub scout is today. Students will experience how to manage simple first aid, take part in a nature hike, learn how to set up a tent, and build STEM projects. Blast Off! Reader's Theater Summer Rocket is here! Let's get our students reading level up and ready for the next school year. Students will be engaging into reader's theater reading activity in a fun and excited way. Students will be grouped in their reading group level and build on their literacy skills. Blast Off! Reader's Theater camp will be used as a strategy to blend students’ desire to perform with their need for oral reading practice. Students will be given opportunity to role play their favorite part of books read. This camp will offer an entertaining and engaging means of improving fluency and enhancing comprehension. Students will be given an opportunity to work with students of different grade level and to involve students in reading aloud. In Blast Off Reader’s theater Summer Rocket camp students will perform by reading scripts created from grade-level books or stories. They will be given an opportunity to do so with costumes or props and play the role of different characters in stories read. Students will be engaged in Character Parade where they will be given the opportunity to dress in their favorite character read in the story costume and speak about their character with peers. Students will be given task to set up props of selected story in groups to identify different elements of a story. Explore the world of acrylic pouring! Ms. Yancey will teach you at least 2 pouring techniques per day. You will also learn how to create a pouring medium and add it to acrylic paint to use on your work each day. Students will pour on canvases, 3D animals, and ornaments. We will also explore creations made from acrylic skins (jewelry, and collages). At the end of session, you will have over 15 original pieces of artwork to display at home!

Let’s Fly Drones! Join Ms. Santana for Drones In School. Beginner to Advanced ability levels. No experience needed. Students will fly USA-made EMAX Tiny Hawk drones practicing virtually and physically. Students will study and receive the recreational TRUST drone license guaranteed with 100% pass rate! Ages 16+ are eligible to study for the Part 107 license to accept jobs as a drone operator. Outside examination is required. Each student will choose a job role: Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Drone Technician, Design Engineer, Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator. They will form teams and produce a portfolio showcasing their own drone companies. Students must follow safety and class procedures outlined with their license. A summer spent at a pool splashing and enjoying the weather with friends. This will be about fun whether it is playing pool games or practicing boating skills in the pool. It is fun and relaxing and a wonderful way to spend a week getting to meet new people and learn new ways to enjoy being in the water. Participants need to bring at least one towel, plenty of sunscreen, a water bottle, snacks and an attitude ready for fun and adventure. A one-piece swimsuit is required for females and rash guards are encouraged.

Do you like to flip, tumble and twist? Use these skills to learn how to dive and prepare for the upcoming high school dive season. Participants will learn the proper way to complete basic dives and increase skills throughout the week. Participants need to bring a towel, females are required to wear a one piece swim suit, bring sunscreen, and water bottle.
Students who take the Life Skills program will learn about the following skills: Critical Thinking, Communication skills and etiquette, Problem Solving, Time Management, Financial Literacy, Adaptability, Emotional Intelligence, Digitial Literacy, and Teamwork Collaboration.
Join us for an exploration of yoga, movement, mindfulness, and art. Introducing simple poses, relaxation strategies, calming exercises, and mindful art projects appropriate for all secondary students. We will have journaling, breathing and relaxation techniques, yoga, fun movement and games planned for our mornings and a variety of art projects planning for each afternoon. Art projects may include mindful doodling, watercolors, tie-dye, sculpting, acrylics, etc. We are hoping that each student will come away from this week with new interests, strategies for helping them relax, some beautiful art projects, and fun memories. Each day will be a different theme and intention.

The Survivor 2025 Summer Camp is an exciting and immersive program designed for middle and high school students who will engage together in a week-long adventure of strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Inspired by the popular Survivor format, the camp will foster personal growth, collaboration, and creative problem-solving through a variety of challenges, games, and activities. In combining elements of competition, art, and recreation, the camp offers a memorable and enriching experience that participants will treasure for years to come.
This week provides participants with the opportunity to learn how to be an effective swim instructor assistant. Participants will use their skills to assist in the other three aquatic enrichment programs to earn volunteer hours. Each participant will have the opportunity to become certified as a, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Participants will need a towel, swimsuit (it is required for females to wear a one piece suit), sunscreen, water bottle, hat and sunglasses.
This week will focus on enhancing the competitive stroke technique along with starts and turns for each participant through drills and video review. This is an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming high school season or be more efficient in creating a fitness program. It is required that female participants wear a one-piece suit. Participants need to bring a towel, goggles, sunscreen, water bottle and snacks. A swim cap will be provided to each participant.
Tennis is a lifelong sport than can offer a fun and entertaining way to be active. In this course we will spend a portion of each day developing new tennis skills and strategy, singles and doubles matches, as well as team building competitions.
**THIS CAMP WILL HAVE A FIELD TRIP FOR ALL STUDENTS ON FRIDAY. ALL REGISTERED STUDENTS MUST ATTEND FIELD TRIP** Camp attendees will learn in an operational Aerospace/Aviation Hangar environment with Aircraft and Helicopters. Students will build and model Aircraft, Build and launch a Model Rocket, and Fly drones. On Friday morning we will go to The Astronauts Memorial Foundation's, Center for Education and receive training for NASA personnel. Then spend the rest of the day at the NASA Visitor Center.
Welcome to Broadway on the Beach! This theatre camp is geared for students who are interested in learning all of the elements of live performance. Participants will explore the process of developing “triple threat” skills of singing, dance, and theater (along with some improv thrown your way!) We’ll cover auditions, rehearsals and musical theatre techniques with mentorship from experienced performers, directors, choreographers. No prior theatre experience is required. Our Beach-themed Musical Theater will help you develop this story by expanding your vocal technique, character development, dance, and stage presence. Friends and family are invited for a final performance in the beautiful Performing Arts Center, in which each participant will have the opportunity to shine and show off skills learned. The Central Brevard MS Band Camp is open to any 5th-8th students interested in the standard band instruments and is hosted on Jefferson MS in beautiful Merritt Island instruments offered are: (flute/clarinet/saxophone/trumpet/french horn/trombone/euphonium/tuba) with NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY; we will learn how to play in small groups and play as a band based on ability, get beginners started on their instrument from scratch.
